I bought my hardtop in 1990 from an acquaintance and it Was my first car and everyday driver until I parked it in my factory in 1994. Fortunately, Canberra has a very dry climate and the body appears to be still virtually rust free to this day. I put a 2:75 ratio 9 inch disc brake diff when The original borg Warner had seen better days and swapped out the factory C4 for a top loader. I removed the original engine and rebuilt it before putting it in an XY wagon. In hindsight, I now regret doing this. Despite owning various performance falcons, my coupe is, and always will be, my favourite “babyâ€. |

From what I know it has a sedan chassis underneath it. Meaning the floor pan, trunk pan and frame rails were cut from a sedan. Then the XB coupe body put over top of it. It was sold in November 2020 for $13,000 NZD. Then three days later sold to Australia for $38,000. | |||
