Dealer/Owner Options: | |
| Bought the vehicle from WA in 2012 and it had been in storage for a number of years. Requires an extensive restoration due to rust and wear, but is complete and in running condition. The steering has been converted to a manual GT 16:1 ratio box, stamped with 16M on the cover. Plans are to change it back to power steering. The FMX has been replaced with a Toploader transmission. Toploader will remain. The engine has had a camshaft change, Edlebrock manifold, alloy rocker covers and a Holley carburettor. Plans are to build the engine to Boss 351 spec (solid lifters, 4V heads etc...). Slightly hotter than an original 73 big port XB GT. Interior is mostly original but seats have houndstooth inserts in them. Over the years have been collecting parts such as a D3FF coded Motorcraft 4300 and other bits including a set of 4V CC heads and matching intake manifold in preparation for restoration. Currently restoring another hardtop (XB GS Fairmont). |
