Bought the vehicle from WA in 2012 and it had been in storage for a number of years. Requires an extensive restoration due to rust and wear, but is complete and in running condition.

The steering has been converted to a manual GT 16:1 ratio box, stamped with 16M on the cover. Plans are to change it back to power steering.

The FMX has been replaced with a Toploader transmission. Toploader will remain.

The engine has had a camshaft change, Edlebrock manifold, alloy rocker covers and a Holley carburettor. Plans are to build the engine to Boss 351 spec (solid lifters, 4V heads etc...). Slightly hotter than an original 73 big port XB GT.

Interior is mostly original but seats have houndstooth inserts in them.

Over the years have been collecting parts such as a D3FF coded Motorcraft 4300 and other bits including a set of 4V CC heads and matching intake manifold in preparation for restoration. Currently restoring another hardtop (XB GS Fairmont).

This genuine GT was the vehicle purchased by Kennedy Milller (as seen in the pics when it was white), then transformed into the Black on Black Pursuit Special Interceptor. The car was then reused and modified for Mad Max 2. The car currently resides in Orlando Florida as part of the Dezer Collection. I first picked this car up from a Pakenham backyard in 1994 for my mate. He had it in his garage moving from hose to house for 15 years. He did some minor restoration work during this time, which will all need to be done again. He then passed away tragically and the car was take to a farm where it stayed in a paddock for about 3 years. I then got the car off my mates kids in Nov 2017. The car need a full restoration.

I have original sales receipt owners manual , NRMA insurance policy and log books. Car was sold to Neita June Johnson of Bent Street Cooma. Sales receipt shows date of purchase as 24th Feb 1975. Service manual shows purchase dare as 30th Sept 74. Original rego was HCE 064. Receipt shows trim as white/2, interior was white with cloth inserts but compliance only W. A friend found the car advertised for sale in 2006 on the aide of the road near Lismore NSW. I purchased it registered and running for $5400. History relatively unknown, I purchased this car in April 2017 off the father of the owner who had passed away, he had planned on doing a restoration on it but only got as far as disassembling it, the car was sitting under a tree on a property in Mooloolabah Qld and at some point the car has been through a flood (mud throughout the car, engine full of water etc), original copper bronze car but has been painted blue at some point in its life, i've since cleaned it up, got it running etc and tucked it away in my shed as a future project

The original owner of the hardtop passed away 6 months after buying it, and his wife then drove it until 1980 when she traded it on a new Datsun 200B. I acquired the hardtop from a Melbourne used car lot as a 16 year old in 2003 after the second owner passed away and his kids traded it in. At the time it had covered 95,000 original miles. I drove the car from 2005-2008 and it has been stored unregistered since then, now just on 100,000 miles. The car still retains the original owners manual and log book, along with both original sets of keys. I have been able to speak with the families of both previous owners.

The car had been in Emerald, Qld (my hometown) since the mid-1980's and had two owners in this time (tyring to find out its history before then as well). I bought it in December 2000 as a shell with suspension and not much else for $650 and began a complete resto, doing as much of the work as possible myself. Due to budget and time restraints the rebuild took approx. 13 years and now the car is on club rego, driven to shows and drive days etc mostly around my local area. I rebuilt it in a 1970's street car style using all Ford parts (mostly XB and XC) as I have always favoured that look. I fitted a XC Fairmont dash (seemed like a good idea at the time!) because the previous owner had modified the original XB dash in a way I didn't like and I had a perfect XC one at the time. If I had to start again I'd find an XB GS dash, and repaint the car next time in its original Deep Aqua, but no plans to do that as I love the way it looks now in black. The cars original compliance plates were lost during a full paint job by the previous owner in the '90's, so when I registered it I supplied an old rego certificate from previous owner, a stat declaration of why the plates weren't on it and my verification letter from Ford. The rego officer also visually checked the chassis number on the shock tower and under Qld Transport rules, the car is now legally registered. I would love to know any additional info on the cars history if anyone out there knows it.

It was an import to the United States. I've always wanted one and when the opportunity presented itself I couldn't help myself. I hear there's around 100 here and I'm proud to say I'm one of those 100 owners! I've had people stop on my neighborhood street and ask about it even though it's stationary in the garage at the moment. That's how unique it is. There's not a ton of rust on it that I can see, a bit on the rear, but nothing that's a deal breaker. I'm dying to get it on the road just so I can feel it under my rear. I haven't started the motor yet, but that was mostly due to the fact that I couldn't even get the bonnet open. It's open now though so work is about to get underway.

Was my first car and everyday driver until I parked it in my factory in 1994. Fortunately, Canberra has a very dry climate and the body appears to be still virtually rust free to this day. I put a 2:75 ratio 9 inch disc brake diff when The original borg Warner had seen better days and swapped out the factory C4 for a top loader. I removed the original engine and rebuilt it before putting it in an XY wagon. In hindsight, I now regret doing this. Despite owning various performance falcons, my coupe is, and always will be, my favourite “baby”.

From what I know it has a sedan chassis underneath it. Meaning the floor pan, trunk pan and frame rails were cut from a sedan. Then the XB coupe body put over top of it. It was sold in November 2020 for $13,000 NZD. Then three days later sold to Australia for $38,000.

I got it from a mate in Kalgoorlie a couple of years ago. It had been in a shed up there for about 20 years. He had only done about 5000 kms in that time. It had a 351C from another mates sprint car, so it went pretty hard. Have since recond the original matching numbers engine and will fit it once the car hss been repainted back to the original sky view blue. We always thought it was Apollo Blue from factory but once we checked the code found out it was sky view. When the Apollo Blue started peeling of whilst washing the car we noticed how good the body was, pretty much no rust, so it was decided that we do a full bare metal resto and fit the original engine back in it. Should be complete soon.
